The Comedy Club at Cuba* will remain open through January, with Willie White opening the doors on Sunday 14 January.
Wille, who is from Ballymun, shot to fame via the Des Bishop venture,
Joy in da Hood and has since hit the ground running. He is now one of
the most in-demand comics on the circuit. He recently wowed audiences
when he supported Tommy Tiernan for two nights at the club and is
returning for a much-anticipated longer solo act.
Joining
him on the night is Corkonian Keith Farnan, a fresh and interesting
comic that sways away from smut as a form of getting a cheap laugh.
Local comic Emmet O Malley will complete the bill. On the open mike
slot will be a new talent Jack Gibbons.
Gerry Mallon is set to
host and MC the gig. Tickets, which includes free entry into Cuba*
nightclub, are available in advance from Bar 903, the Cellar Bar and at
the door.
