Singer songwriter Conor Ward will play Amnesty International's Freedom Cafe tomorrow, Thursday 24 January, at 6pm.

Conor has played venues across the country with his band Electric Messiah. He is now trying his luck as a one-man show. His influences include Led Zeppelin, Damien Rice and The Dave Matthews Band and his songs have been described as being mellow yet funky. Admission is free.

Unchained Melodies promotes local and international musicians, which enables it to add its voice and talent to the movement to bring human rights for all. Amnesty International is an organisation made up of ordinary people working to protect human rights worldwide.

If you are interested in playing or require details contact Anna Sorensdotter, Amnesty International, 2-3 Middle Street on 091-533637 or check out www.amnesty.ie.
