Seamus Duffy and Walkperson will play in Amnesty's Freedom Café in the city centre this Thursday, 20 March, at 5pm. ![]() Walkperson. Currently based in Dublin, indie-alternative outfit Walkperson play music somewhere between PJ Harvey and BellX1 with occasional leanings towards alt-country acts such as Ryan Adams, The Shins and Richmond Fontaine. Walkperson's influences range from the just mentioned and unacknowledged groups and artists who pursue their craft with commitment, bits of books and films that end up in the songs, writers, Victor Pellevin, Salman Rushdie, among others, friends and surroundings. Seamus Duffy is from Louth but has been living in Galway for the last few months now. His influences include Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and Tom Waits. The set will be a mixture of originals and covers.
