Value for money laughs

There is value for money at the Laughter Lounge tonight, Wednesday 27 January, as UK comic Kevin Bridges is joined by Aidan Bishop, Karl Spain and sketch troupe Foil Arms and Hog.

Kevin Bridge's solo show at last year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival was officially the first show to sell out its entire run thanks in no small way to the Scottish motormouth's appearance on Michael Mclntyre's Comedy Roadshow on the BBC and on several episodes of '8 Out of 10 Cats'.

Organiser and resident MC of Dublin's International Comedy Club, New York native Aidan Bishop has honed his craft in the same room as some of Ireland's most famous comedians, including his brother Des. Not confined to Dublin, Aidan took his show 'Aidan Bishop's Batchelor Pad' to the Edinburgh Fringe last year.

Karl Spain's latest TV show 'Karl Spain Wants to Rock' saw the affable Limerick man get down and dirty with a whole host of Heavy Metal tribute acts, but it was in 2008 that Karl made a name for himself on the hit TV Show 'Karl Spain Wants A Woman'.
