![]() The Japanese Popstars will play a full live show in Galway prior to their hectic summer schedule, which includes appearances at Oxegen and Glastonbury. The gig will take place in the Black Box this Friday, 9 May. The Popstars are about to release their brand new album on Gung Ho Records with their debut single receiving critical acclaim from the likes of BBC Radio 1's Pete Tong. They have also remixed Groove Armada's 'Get Down'. The GA guys liked it so much that they are now going to release it as a single on its own! It will be out at the end of May on Strictly Rhythm. Support on the night comes from Dublin's Johnny Moy and Galway man Ger Z. Top local DJ Ardohan has also been confirmed as a special guest DJ for the night. Tickets, €17.50/€15, are available from The Town Hall Theatre on 091-569777 or on the door on the night. Doors open at 10pm. |
