After a successful inaugural season last year, the 'We Like Short Shorts' programme is back for the 2008 Tuam Arts Festival. Are you a filmmaker or producer? Do you have a short film you would like the world to see? Then the Tuam Arts Festival wants you to enter your film in the 'We Like Short Shorts' programme in the festival this August. The programme features short films in any genre and the only criteria for entry is that the film must be under 20 minutes long. Earwig Tuam Arts Festival runs from 15 to 24 August. Earwig! are a community arts organisation who run the festival, which is now its sixth year. The Tuam Arts Festival is now accepting applications for entry to the competition, which this year features two awards, an Audience Award and a very special Jill Murray Likes Award. Tuam Arts Festival is especially interested in screening films, which are under five minutes long. To enter a film, send your film, in DVD format only, with a stamped addressed envelope and a short biog of crew and cast plus a synopsis of your film to Joanne Hynes, Creevaghbawn, Tuam, Co. Galway by Saturday 9 August. For more information, email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it |
