This week’s Laughter Lounge at the Róisín Dubh is headlined by one half of Today FM's TJ and TJ, Bernard O’Shea, with comic support from John Colleary and Robbie Bonham. Bernard O’Shea started out in the entertainment world playing traditional Irish music. But his mind snapped one day and he suddenly began singing about killer cats, inflatable dolls and wetting the bed. He won the Harp Comedy Award in 2000 and has gone on to tour extensively throughout the UK.

Born in Sligo and based in Dublin, upcoming comic John Colleary is a familiar face on the Irish comedy scene. He makes regular appearances at The International, The Comedy Cellar and The Capital Comedy Club in Dublin.

John has honed his comedic skills as resident MC at Craic in the Box, a monthly comedy club in his native Sligo. He has appeared with every top act in the country and beyond, including Jason Byrne, Des Bishop, Colin Murphy, Barry Murphy and Jeff Green.

Robbie Bonham has been doing stand-up for a couple of years now, only getting into it at the ripe old age of 33.
He now plays regularly in the Laughter Lounge, the Capital Comedy Club, and various other Dublin gig and last year was voted the Capital Comedy Club's best support act.

Tickets, €12.50, are available from the Róisín Dubh on Dominick Street. Doors open at 9pm.
