Bruce Carter and Danny Saville founded Manchester electro punks The Whip.

They have crafted an entire new batch of electro-pop dance anthems, fusing the rigid pop sensibility of New Order with the off kilter virtuosity of electro acts from Ficherspooner to Jacques Lu Cont.

They play Cuba on Thursday 24 July at 9pm. They are supported by Reasons to be Beautiful. Tickets, €15, are available from www.galwayartsfestival.com.
