Kevin May, Mick Lynch and Shane Power are keen to showcase their new single Waking Up In America to their Irish fan base. Having been in such demand in the US over the last while, The Guggenheim Grotto are glad to be back on Irish Soil where it all started.

The Guggenheim Grotto pair their hauntingly beautiful vocal harmonies with classical and contemporary instruments. They create an unbelievable mix of pop and rock, which is evident in their latest single Waking Up In America.

Shortly after signing to NYC-based indie label United For Opportunity; the band released Waltzing Alone in the US. The band was invited to showcase at SXSW where the guys played a brace of gigs before heading off to the sunnier climes of Los Angeles for a KCRW sponsored show at the Hotel Café. An hour-long live session for XM Radio's 'The Loft' was recorded.

It is only now that they have found a break in their hectic schedule to release their much-anticipated second album. The Guggenheim Grotto have built up a firm fan base in Ireland and the US and are very excited to showcase Waking Up In America.

Tickets, €10 are available from the Róisín Dubh on Dominick Street.
