The man who is as close as we have to a poet laureate of Irish music has announced an Irish Tour in 2010 and he'll play the Róisín Dubh on Friday 12 March.

Fionn Regan is blessed with a way words many poets would die for produced one of the finest albums of the last ten years with his Mercury Prize and Choice Music Prize nominated debut The End of history and as well as playing songs from his mesmerizing debut he'll be showcasing songs from the long awaited The Shadow Of An Empire follow-up, which is scheduled for release in early 2010 through Universal.
