Ian Stone, Dougie Dunlop, Paddy Courtney and John Rowley will headline The Laughter Lounge at the Róisín Dubh tonight, Wednesday 5 March at 9pm. Ranked amongst the top ten stand-ups in Britain by The Independent, Ian Stone is one of the most talented topical acts and comperes on the circuit. Edgy and provocative, with a self-depreciating style, he has stormed comedy clubs all over the world. His many TV appearances include 'Mock The Week' to 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks'. Ian is also a regular contributor to the Guardian, The Observer and The Independent On Sunday. Highly talented observational comic, Dougie Dunlop, effortlessly gets audiences laughing and sharing his unique take on life. Dougie started his career at the 'The Stand' in hometown Edinburgh and made his fringe debut in 2000 as part of the 'The Midnight Show' in the Gilded Balloon. Paddy Courtney's introduction to the stand up comedy world was at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival, 1998, where he spent four weeks in the best of Irish show 'Just for the Craic'. 'Controversial Courtney' as he has been christened by Hot Press magazine, has also been described as a 'Comedy Juggernaut' by 3D Magazine.
