Get stirred up for a couple of great nights out at Central Park this month.

The Central Park 'Shake Off' cocktail competition for local bars and the hotel trade heats will take place on Monday 11 and 25 February at Bar One in Central Park.

There has been strong interest from a variety of venues. Those that have thrown their hat in the ring and have decided to stand up and be counted include: the Front Door, O'Connell's, the House Hotel, the Meyrick, the Cottage Bar, Tigh Neachtains, Busker Browns, No. 8, the Living Room, The Radisson, Freaneys, The g, Lohans, The King's Head, Central Park, Halo and The Skeff.

Each participant has created their own unique cocktail recipe involving either Stolichnaya Vodka or Havana Club rum to enter into the competition.

There is a €3,000 travel voucher to be won by the overall competition winner and more importantly the honour of knowing which bar has the best cocktail maker in the region on its team.

Doors from 9pm with all those present welcome to stay on in the club afterwards. A very limited number of places are left. Any bar that wishes to participate can contact Paula Feeney, Central Park Group Marketing, on 091-565976.
