The Western Writers' Centre, Galway, is organising a three-poet reading event at The Spirit Centre, 34 Nuns Island on Friday 4 July at 1pm.

The Spirit Centre is an innovative, not-for-profit community based organisation located in the heart of Galway city. The centre provides a space that facilitates people of all faiths in their spiritual development. It offers a variety of spiritual, healing and self-development practices and is staffed by a team of highly qualified teachers and therapists who are committed to providing the best possible care for their students and clients.

Poets Megan Buckley, Kevin Donnelly and Fred Johnston will read at the event.

Admission is free but donations for The Spirit Centre are welcome.
