One of Ireland's most exciting emerging songwriters, Niall Connolly, will play The Crane Bar on Sea Road tomorrow, Thursday 20 March, at 9pm.

Niall launched his latest CD, 'The Future Tense', with two gigs in The Crane Bar in October last year. His debut album 'Songs from a Corner' (2001) went to number one in the Hot Press indie charts and helped him build a loyal fan base in Ireland as well as affording him the opportunity to tour Britain and mainland Europe.

His follow up, 'As tomorrow creeps from the east' (2003), opened further doors.

Released on the independent Cork based cu records label, Niall's music has already received airplay in Ireland, Toronto and Sydney.

'As tomorrow creeps from the east' has also bizarrely recorded Internet sales in as yet un-toured territories, including Japan and New Zealand.

This gig is by popular demand following Niall's December gig at the same venue.

Tickets, €10, are available from The Crane Bar.
