Sophisticated Celtic jazz pioneers Carmina play the Róis?n Dubh on Monday 26 November at 8pm. Carmina have just released their second album, their second collaboration with Irish music legend Dónal Lunny. Hailed as 'absolutely gorgeous - a masterpiece' by Frank Hennessey from the BBC, the album boasts some big names on the British and Irish jazz scene as well as two young stars of Irish traditional music. The line-up for this gig includes Geoff Castle on keyboards; Brian Morrissey on bodhr?n, banjo, whistles, percussion; and Diarmaid Moynihan on the uilleann pipes and whistles.
