'Songs for Leo', a tribute to the late Leo Healy with Sharon Shannon and friends, will take place on Tuesday 30 September in the Róisín Dubh at 8pm. All proceeds will go to the Irish Heart foundation.

Artists such as Eleanor Shanley, Seamus Begley, Mundy and Dessie O'Halloran will perform on the night.

Leo Healy was brother to Greg and Kevin (co-owners of Róisín Dubh) and Sharon Shannon's life partner. He died on 7 May this year from a heart attack.

Although the CD is not for sale anywhere, this gig is basically a live version of that CD. All the acts are giving their time free of charge so 100 per cent of door proceeds will go directly to the charity.

Tickets, €30, from Zhivago Records, Shop Street Galway on 091-509960, and from the Róisín Dubh.
