Songbirds, The Golden Age of Swing, Jazz and Blues comes to the Town Hall on Sunday 20 April at 8pm.

The night will see Doris Day, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Judy Garland, Aretha Franklin, Edith Piaf, Liza Minnelli, Sarah Vaughan all under one roof.

These great Divas have influenced and shaped the lives of so many people. Their stories are shocking and brave and most of all their music is powerful. The show will take you through the years as they explore the lives and careers of these amazing women.

The night will be hosted by RTé's Kevin Hough and Diva Ellen Mc Elroy, who performed together on stage, screen and radio for a number of years, under the musical direction of veteran musician David Wray and accompanied by his toe tapping swing band.

Hit songs include 'My Funny Valentine', 'Lady is a Tramp', 'New York New York', 'I Say a Little Prayer', 'My Baby Just Cares for Me', 'The World Goes Round', 'Over the Rainbow', 'Manhattan' and 'Every Time We Say Goodbye'.
