Disconauts take up the reins this weekend - Saturday 9 February - in the latest instalment of Saturdays @ The Cellar Underground. ![]() The new night has taken off with a bang and rotating residents 091, Disconauts and Sisi have been playing to appreciative full houses every week since its inception just a month ago. "We - 091 and Sisi and Disconauts - were all hoping to slowly build something great in Galway again, an intimate underground club playing good music through a phenomenal Funktion One sound system to clued-in people who were up for dancing, but we couldn't have foreseen how crazy it was going to be from the very first week. "Full houses, nights selling out early and great party vibes... people in Galway are really hungry for seriously good nights out, and we think we're giving them just that on Saturdays in the Cellar Underground!" said Padraic Disconaut. Keith and Padraic will be spreading the love this Saturday with their own blend of sleazy house, spacey disco, Latin/afro rhythms and heads-down minimal techy nonsense. The lads also have a special treat lined up for their following Cellar gig on Saturday 1 March with a night featuring DJ and live sets from the Feel Music label featuring Max Essa, John Daly and OneEye. Doors at The Cellar are from 10pm until late, but capacity is limited so people are advised to get there early. |
