A new showcase night for new bands is to take place in The Quays on Wednesday 30 January at 8pm.

Organiser Gerard Duff says he wants the night to be a showcase night for bands that have never played before. "The quays stage is awesome and for bands just starting off to get the chance to play there would be class," he says.

Admission is priced at €5.
