Town Hall Theatre presents Cathy Sharp Dance Ensemble’s 'Short Cuts' for one performance only on Tuesday 2 October at 8pm. 

The Cathy Sharp Dance Ensemble from Basel, Switzerland, celebrates its 15 years this year. Over this time, this creative company has developed a large repertoire of modern and contemporary dance, and has become one of the major independent dance companies in Switzerland. Its tours of Ireland have become a tradition and it has established a solid following from within the Irish dance audiences.

For the eighth Irish Tour, artistic director Cathy Sharp has arranged a special evening of dance. ‘Short Cuts’ is a mixed-bill and highlights the work of several international choreographers, as well as Cathy Sharp’s latest creation.

The ensemble has recently seen many changes, with a new group of young and dynamic dancers from around the world joining together to present ‘Short Cuts’. It has also been commissioned to create a new work for the Holland Dance Festival in November 2007.
