Athenry Musical Society, which is celebrating its tenth consecutive year on the boards next February, are set to begin auditioning for next February's show.

'Seussical' is a musical adaptation of the books of Dr Seuss comprising of many of Seuss's most famous books and their characters like the Cat in the Hat, Horton, The Grinch, General Genghis Kahn Schmitz, and other eclectic characters all set against the backdrop of a variety of musical genres. There are songs, exiting choreography and perhaps even an illusion or two!

An information night on the show will be held on Wednesday 24 September upstairs in Keanes Bar, Athenry at 8pm. Auditions for Seussical are the following Saturday, 27 September from 2pm also in Keanes. Anyone interested, regardless as to what level, is encouraged to audition.
