Sarah Elaine.

Sarah Elaine and Marcus Fields will play in the Freedom Café tomorrow Thursday 13 March at 5pm.

Marcus hails from the land of Sligo but now resides in the city of tribes. He, in his own words, "fancies himself as the word-smith" creating intimate blend of lyrics and melody to captivate the listener. His EP, My Consequential Darkness, encapsulates Marcus' unique talent for writing original and stirring lyrics. His skilfully crafted songs have been likened to such musicians as the Stunning. Drawing inspiration from other creative lyricists such as Richard Ashcroft, The Killers, Placebo, Kevin Keogh, he creates an evocative sound.

Then Sarah Elaine will take to the stage at 6pm. She's started singing at a very young age and it's her passion - the emotion, the different styles and all its life, soul and everything in between. A few years ago she picked up the guitar and hasn't put it down ever since. After that the song writing started too.

Admission is free.

If you are interested in playing or require details contact Anna Sorensdotter, Amnesty International, 2-3 Middle Street on 091-533637 or check out www.amnesty.ie.
