The band has been together for just under a year; founding members Joe Brady (vocals, bass, lead and rhythm guitar) and Cristiano de Simone (vocals, lead and rhythm guitar).

They had trouble finding a suitable drummer for their three-piece rock vision, and that delayed their live performances, but with the addition of Donal Kerans the band is complete and they have wasted no time in booking gigs.

They will also be recording their album over the summer and are determined to make a big impact on the music scene.

Sangre de Toro sound like no other three-piece band around, focussing on the groove, rhythm, melody and meaningful lyrics.

They describe their music as heavy, chilled out, hippie, progressive, rock/metal - in other words you have to hear it to understand it.

There's something for everyone, no matter what your preferred music style is. From deep emotional songs to tongue in cheek humour, they try to include everything in their songs. Sangre de Toro's live performance is one of excitement, energy and movement to keep people entertained and enjoying their night out.

Supporting the band on the night is local singer songwriter Sonia, who has both a unique singing and acoustic guitar playing style. She will release her album, entitled Clarity, this summer.

Admission is €5.
