The final Over The Edge Reading of 2009 takes place in Galway City Library this Thursday, 17 December from 6.30pm to 8pm and the featured readers are Gerry Galvin, Liam Duffy and RTE's Conor Mark Kavanagh.

From Galway but currently attending university in Finland, Liam Duffy's poems have appeared in The Shop, Revival and many more publications.

Better known as a chef and former restaurateur, Gerry Galvin was the author of bestselling cookbooks The Drimcong Food Affair and Everyday Gourmet and his first collection of poetry is forthcoming in 2010.

RTE News reporter Conor Mark Kavanagh has worked as a reporter on The Arts Show and has been invited back to read his own poem 'Homecoming'. He is also a singer-songwriter and has co-written album tracks with Eurovision Song Contest winner, Charlie Mc Gettigan.

There will be an open-mic when the Featured Readers have finished where new readers are always welcome. MC for the evening is Susan Millar DuMars.
