Rootical Sound System are a roots reggae crew that pride themselves on playing and promoting roots reggae in the traditional fashion. Using their custom built sound system they can be found pounding dancefloors throughout the country with various singers and mcs, showcasing their talents and spreading the positive message that goes hand in hand with the music style.

1. Taffari 'Vulture' cause n effect
Deep conscious business with the sweet vocal talents of Taffari, produced by none other then Dub Judah and his London based Disc Jockey studio
2. Earl 16 'Jah Messenger' Spirka Atuy records
In similar vein to the above, heavy conscious business - but this one has come out of the Japanese based Atuy studio, mixed by the mighty Gussie p.
3. Glen Brown 'Equal Rights & Justice' Digital English
Tough digital steppers tune with this roots veteran on vocals serious sound system style. Comes on 7" format out of the living room studios in New York. Killer melodica cut on the B-side.. heavyweight!!
4. Alborosie 'Rastafari Anthem' - Forward recs
Italian born and raised in Jamaica, this artist is taking the roots scene by storm a true gem and more then worthy of the given title.
5. Sandeeno 'No More War'- Jah Enforcers
A Rootical favourite, 'Sandeeno' is a London-based roots artist with lyrical skills matched by very few. This tune tears up the place every time it is dropped and will defiantly not be put to rest for a long time yet!
6. Ava Leigh 'Over the Bridge' - Roots Garden
Beautiful vocal piece over the 'Levi' riddim produced and arranged by Nick Mannasseh. Mannasseh Hi-Fi being the most recent guests to be featured at Rooticals Black Box sessions. This one has recently seen release courtesy of this Brighton based label.
7. Fustep 'Mr Greedy'- Conscious Sounds
This one is the result of a link up between French based singer 'Fustep' & Dougie Wardrop, the man behind the famous east London label and studio. Always top notch material from this camp. Conscious Sounds will be making an appearance at this year's Mantua festival in the Rootical arena. Not to be missed!
8. Tenna Star 'I Believe' - Mellow vibes
Out of Birmingham, this one is on Murray Mans label. As the label title indicates, some real mellow vibes going on here with this new artist on the scene.. deep down roots music!!
9. Mykal Rose 'Thank the Father' Pure Music
Fresh out of Jamaica comes another roots monster. This time vocals are supplied by Black Uhurus lead singer. One of the biggest singers in the game and this one is seriously stuff!!
10. Uncle Sam 'Run Down Town' Clyncha Records
Not much known about this artist or label. Some real underground vibes. One away killer as they say!
