Barry Castagnola.

One of the fastest rising stars of the UK circuit, Barry Castagnola, headlines the Comedy Club at Cuba* this Sunday, 9 March.

As one half of the cult duo Cyderdelic (BBC 2), Castagnola pioneered the art of the hidden camera show that has been often copied but never equalled.

Having toured with Lee Evans and Jack Dee, this affable Cockney's mastery of an audience is astonishing. With killer gags, he is the most cheerfully rude and entertaining act to have emerged in years. And with brilliant jokes and the most winning personality, from the moment he bounces on-stage you know you are going to have fun.

Support on the night comes from impish Cobh native Keith Farnan and Gerry Mallon is the host and MC.

Admission also includes free entry to a draw for tickets for Sean Lock's gig during the Galway Comedy Festival.

Tickets, €12.50, are available in advance at Bar 903, The Cellar Bar and at the door, which opens at 8.30pm.
