![]() One of the fastest rising star of Irish comedy, Jarlath Regan headlines an eclectic bill at the Comedy Club at Cuba this Friday, 21 November. Within two years of quitting his day job, Regan's original brand of observational humour and twisted greeting cards has made him a firm favourite among comedy anoraks. The wave of support for his new age comedy has been growing in momentum for some time. Witty and charming at all times, Regan is a natural storyteller, with much of his act bursting with spontaneity. Support comes from local comic Bob Hennigan and Dubliner Marty D. As ever, the host and MC is the hard-hitting Gerry Mallon who has been described as the 'Joe Calzhage of Irish comedy'. (Evening Herald) Tickets, €12.50, are available in advance at Bar 903, The Cellar Bar and at the door, which opens at 8.30pm. |
