Newly formed four-piece rock covers band 'Recoil' will play Sally Longs this Friday, 13 June at 10pm.

'Recoil' are a Longford based band that are quickly establishing themselves in pubs and clubs around the midlands. The are hoping to tour the rest of Ireland within the coming year with their diverse set and sound that has wide appeal for a variety of audiences.

Along with their ever-expanding set, the band draws on its blues-rock origin and solid musicianship to make sure that every set is exciting and unique.

They easily adapt to suit any size of crowd or venue.

Recoil's set includes all the major hit songs from The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, U2, The Kaiser Chiefs and Stereophonics along with classics from the 70s, 80s and 90s.
