Canada's Stewart Francis headlines the Comedy Club at Cuba* this Sunday, 11 November.
An accomplished actor and writer, Stewart’s gags are razored-down one-liners with disarming set-ups, lurching into twisted and bitter payoffs, drier than a Manhattan martini. A regular on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, he has twice been voted 'Canadian Comic of the year’ (2003, 2005), and was most recently seen on our screens on the Just for Laughs on RTÉ2 Comic support on the night comes from Ballymun Willa 'the Knack' White and on the open mike slot for new talent is Alan Rowe.
The host and MC for the evening is Gerry Mallon and tickets, €12.50, are available at Bar 903, The Cellar bar and at the door, which opens at 8.30pm. |
