Following a career in music spanning more than 30 years, accordion player Gary Quinn is launching his new CD titled 'Keep Her Lit' at the Mall Theatre, Tuam, on Friday 4 July at 8.30pm.

Featured on the album are a host of well-known and respected musicians, including Sean De Burca, Sean Regan, Mike McGoldrick, Steve Simmonds, Tom Giblin, Paul Johnson, Bruno Staehelin, Sinead Deely and Gary's brother Kieran Quinn.

The album comprises a number of Gary's own compilations, along with some well known traditional Irish tunes. It uniquely incorporates a variety of musical styles, which he encountered on his travels, from Cajun to Eastern European. The result is an extraordinary and refreshing blend of Irish music that will appeal to a wide-ranging audience.
