![]() Poetry and politics mix this weekend at Galway City Museum. Poet and politician Michael D Higgins, whose first collection 'The Betrayal' was published by Salmon in 1990, will give a reading of his poetry at the museum for North Beach Poetry on Saturday 3 May at 3pm. "It is always a moving experience to listen to Michael D read and to hear the fascinating background stories to his poems," said organiser John Walsh. Admission is €5. |
