The 'perfect musical', My Fair Lady, began its run at the Town Hall Theatre yesterday, Tuesday 26 February.

My Fair Lady is a musical based upon George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion, with book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe.

The show's 1956 Broadway production was a smash hit, setting a new record for the longest run of any major theatre production in history. It has often been called the perfect musical. This Galway show will feature Hildegarde Naughton (Eliza) and Michael Coen (Prof Higgins).

Tickets, €20, are available from 091-569777. It will run until Saturday 1 March.
