Are things electric at Cuba nowadays? It certainly seems so if some of the previous (DJ Falcon, Glimmers) and upcoming guests to the Eyre Square venue are anything to go by.

On the last Saturday of this month, 28 June, French Electro DJ Feadz , Best known for his hip-hop influenced tracks and remixes - especially his collaborations with Uffie - comes to Cuba Live to rock the party.

Originally from Paris, Feadz worked with Mr Oizo on his first album 'Analog Worms Attack' and produced a few EP's on Ellen Allien's ubercool German minimal/techno label Bpitchcontrol.

Now he's mainly working for Ed Banger records on the Uffie's adventure, and still bangin the clubs around the world with his 'hors pair' selection and technique. Support on the night from the man with the master plan, Paul Hannon.

Another foray into things electric for Cuba comes together over the Arts Festival with a selection of electronic acts ranging from the dirty electro sounds of "If they sound as cool as they look then they'll be deadly" Mancunians The Whip on Thursday 24 July to the warm melodic soothing vibes of Irish acoustic-tronica act Autamata on Saturday 26 July.

Info on all things Cuba can be found at www.cuba.ie.
