![]() The man dubbed the 'King of comedy cool', the peerless Reginald D Hunter, headlines the Comedy Club at Cuba* this Sunday 17 February. Born in Georgia, Hunter moved to the UK seven years ago and has become the most important comic on the circuit in a short space of time. Charming, charismatic and with a voice that flows like molases, his presence and intelligence make him one of the most brilliantly unpredictable comics in the world. Nominated for the Perrier award in three consecutive years, the magic of the man is that he has the sensitivity to mime pure gold from awkward admissions without using a jackhammer or alienating anyone in the audience. Support on the night comes from sassy Dundalk comic Sinead Culbert and Gerry Mallon is the host and MC. Tickets, €12.50, are available in advance at Bar 903, The Cellar Bar and at the door, which opens at 8.30pm. |
