The Bee Gees are in the top five of the most successful recording artists of all time.
In a career spanning over 40 years, they sold more than 175 million records worldwide and have written dozens of hits for themselves and other acts. Over 1,000 artists have performed their songs, from Elvis to Celine Dion. They have had hits spanning from the 1960s to the 1990s and have the accolade of being the second most successful band in the world after the Beatles. They have won seven Grammy Awards and 28 Ivor Novello Awards, and have been inducted into the songwriters Hall of Fame and into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame both in the United States and in Australia. Bee Gees Jive Talk play Kennedy's live, Eyre Square on Friday 19 January. All major hits will be performed from 'Words' to 'Emotion'. Doors open at 11pm. |
