Just ahead of the third annual comedy festival in Galway Canada's Phil Nicol will headline at the Comedy Club at Cuba* this Sunday 16 March.

Phil brings his award winning show 'Hiro Worship', which the Scotsman described as 'Honest, exhilarating, incredibly funny and clever.

Winner of the if. comedy award (formerly the Perrier) in 2006, Phil's show is a hilarious story of a Japanese tourist that he put up for a night who ended up staying for six months. Its a multi media show where Phil will be joined by a full five piece band and will be mixing in video footage all held together by the legendary high energy of this truly unique comic.

Tickets, €12.50 are available in advance at Bar 903,the Cellar Bar and at the door which opens at 8.30pm.
