An exhibition of new paintings by artists Cait Quinn and Simona Dhar is being held by Duane Designs Art Gallery, Loughrea.

The exhibition opens on Friday 12 October at 7pm with a wine reception and will run until Friday 2 November.

Cait has been painting since 1995 and her passion for artwork has led to the exploration of local seascapes and landscapes. Cait's paintings are calm, depicting boats sailing on a journey or homeward bound, carried by the wind and waves.

Simona works from her Craughwell studio to produce vibrant and original oil paintings. Be it a sunrise or sunset, hills and landscape are bathed in rich colours, which is impressionistic and illustrative of Simona's warm feelings for Ireland.
