The upcoming June Bank Holiday weekend sees the launch of a new Nightclub to the Galway social scene with the opening of Club K on Eyre Square. The club is now under new management and has undergone a major facelift. No expense has been spared, with new leather seating, plush carpets and the very latest in sound and light technology. Club K is split over two levels, with a VIP area and private party section upstairs. Reservations are available for all parties, with complimentary champagne offered to all group bookings. Open Wednesday to Sunday Club K will feature a mix of old favourites and chart hits from various well known local and guest DJs. Wednesdays sees Club K launch Bounce, a unique twist to nightclubbing where door admission on the night will be €10, with all drinks priced €2, offering a value for money midweek night to everybody. Thursdays are Kandy, a cocktails and party night not to be missed, while Fridays will see the revival an old favourite, Disco Inferno, a selection of pure 60's to 90's classic hits. The June Bank Holiday weekender will see the club host 'The Bar Wizards' (TV show 'Britain's got talent') on Friday 30 June, i radio's Lisa Brady on Saturday 1 June and guest DJ Fat Boy Tim on Sunday 2 June. Club K will operate strict dress and ID code on the door, with no sportswear or under 21s allowed. Doors are open at 11pm, with free admission before midnight.
