Multi award winning Australian comedian Kitty Flanagan headlines the Comedy Club at Cuba* this Sunday, 4 February. With a base in London, Kitty has become a regular face on the comedy circuit. She falls under the sketch and stand up genre of comedy and has TV credits to her name, including The World Stands Up on Comedy Central (US) and the Friday Night Project (CH 4). Kitty is a travelling comedian that has a gift for languages and telling tall tales. She describes herself as a dedicated feminist that will burn her wonderbra as soon as she can afford a boob job! Sharp, topical and very funny, Kitty's perky offbeat anecdotes are seasoned with smart asides and acute observations that prove remarkably captivating. Support on the night comes from Aidan Bishop, a native New Yorker that has settled in Dublin. Aidan has honed his craft as a resident MC at the renowned International Comedy Club. On the open mike spot is local funny man, the promising, John Donnellan. Tommy Tiernan will feature as the special guest MC. Tickets are priced at €12.50 from Bar 903, the Cellar Bar and at the door, which opens at 8.30pm, (includes free entry to the nightclub afterwards). |
