Monroe's Tavern on Dominick Street will host an exhibition of recent works by American artist Kevin James on Sunday 15 June.

James has visited Ireland periodically since 2003 to paint and to play the washboard. This exhibit caps a six–month residency in Galway. His subject matter includes local musicians, cityscapes and landscapes of Connemara, the Burren and Inishmore.

This one–day event starts at 2pm and there will be food, spoken word and live music.
