The Laughter Lounge at the Roisín Dubh presents a fabulous antipodean
double bill with Mickey D (Australia), Al Pitcher (New Zealand) and an
open spot from Kieran Lawless (NUIG Comedy Soc) tonight, Wednesday 17
January.
Mickey D took his warm, cheeky and energetic brand of comedy to charm
audiences at the Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy
Festival. His boundless energy and infectious smile mean that he is
sure to rub off on any audience. Al Pitcher presents a unique show. Al
eclipses his peers with his interactive abilities, with his audience
never quite knowing where he's taking them but seemingly thrilled by
the journey.
Steve
Cummins, who is currently working as a comedian and commentator on
Newstalk, is renowned as Ireland's foremost MC. He will oversee the
evening.
The Laughter Lounge will begin at 9.30pm (doors open at 9pm). Tickets are ?12.50 and ?10 to members.
DJ Dick-Northern Soul, Ska and a smathering of Indie classics, with a late bar, will follow the show. Free entry after 11.30pm.
