One of the most distinctive voices in Irish music at the moment, Mick Flannery will be giving his Galway fans an early 2010 treat with the announcement that he’ll be playing a live show in the Róisín Dubh on Saturday 9 January. Flannery, whose emotive songs and dulcet tones have endeared him to audiences the length and breadth of the country, is busy touring the UK at the moment with Kate Walsh.

The 25-year-old stone mason from Cork rose to fame here, with his strong lyrics and deep voice and his show in January will be one to look forward to for his many legions of fans in Galway who missed out on tickets for his sold out Roisin Dubh show last weekend.

Tickets (€22.50/€20) are available for booking now from the Roisin Dubh, www.roisindubh.net or Zhivago Shop Street.
