Smackee presents 'Memories are Made of Hits' at the Town Hall Theatre on Monday 28 April at 8pm.

Barry Walker's Smackee have a huge nationwide fan base in no small part because of their dynamic productions such as 'Phantom and The Musicals' and the award winning presentation of 'Abba The Show'. This brand new production brings together the music and the artistes that were at their most popular in the nostalgic era of the 50s and early 60s.

This is not a rock'n'roll show, but a presentation that wants to remind the audience of some of those wonderful stars that were providing the hit parade with some of the greatest and most popular hit recordings ever made.

Featured amongst others will be such classic performers as Judy Garland, Doris Day, Connie Francis, Johnnie Ray, Buddy Holly, Perry Como, Billy Fury, Matt Monro, Dusty Springfield, The Shadows and Burt Bacharach.

This dynamic two-hour production, guarantees that you will leave with more than just one memory of this great and nostalgic musical era.
