![]() The delightfully kooky and ever so slightly eccentric Maeve Higgins headlines the Comedy Club at Cuba* this Sunday 3 February. This Cobh native is now a household name thanks to her hilarious performances on RTé 2's hit show 'Naked Camera' and her weekly slots on Ray Darcy's radio show on Today FM. Odd yet gently fey, Maeve bucks the trend of mouthy female comics with her decidedly leftfield view on life, love and the trials and tribulations of looking for love in modern day Ireland. Following this show, Maeve heads for a three-month tour of Australia and New Zealand. Support on the night comes from Ballymun hoodrat Willa White, who since appearing on Des Bishop's 'Joy in Da Hood' has won two different 'Newcomer' competitions. The host and MC is Gerry Mallon. Tickets, €12.50 are available in advance at Bar 903, The Cellar Bar and at the door, which opens at 8.30pm. |
