Traditional music sessions are all the flavour at the moment and Kennedys Bar, Eyre Square has just opened its doors to Nick Power and Friends for some live traditional music sessions on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The pub itself is nearly two years in business – it opened its doors following the works in Eyre Square. With Eyre Square having received a face-lift and containing an award winning park, it was considered an ideal location for such an establishment. In fact the pub borrowed its name from the park that existed on the same site before Eyre Square, 'Kennedy Park'.

Kennedys is fast becoming 'a local' in the heart of Eyre Square, while also an attraction for tourists with its themed modern revival of old world charm. JFK himself adorns the walls of this quaint and comfortable establishment.

The live music sessions can be enjoyed on Fridays and Saturdays from 9.30pm to 11.30pm and on Sundays from 8pm to 10pm.
