![]() Ex lawyer turned stand up comedian, Michael Mee shares a double bill at the Comedy Club at Cuba* this Sunday, 31 August. Described by the Irish Times as 'Woody Allen with an Irish brogue', Michael has become a regular at all the world's major comedy festivals since he turned pro ten years ago. The undoubted king of the one liner, his deadpan delivery and self effacing style has wowed both audiences and critics alike with the Scotsman describing him as 'another in a long line of Irish wordsmiths...up there with Dave Allen and Dylan Moran'. Sharing the bill is fast rising UK comedian Adrian Lucas who was a finalist Edinburgh Fringe Festival's 'So you think your Funny' competition. Special guest MC for the evening is wunderkid Giles Brody as regular MC Gerry Mallon is performing at the Comedy Tent at Electric Picnic. Tickets, €12.50, are available in advance at Bar 903, The Cellar Bar and at the door, which opens at 8.30pm. |
