The Spiderwick Chronicles
Rating: PG From the beloved best-selling series of books comes The Spiderwick Chronicles, a fantasy adventure for the child in all of us. Unable to explain the strange disappearances and accidents that seem to be happening on a daily basis, the family blames Jared. When he, Simon, and Mallory investigate what's really going on, they uncover the fantastic truth of the Spiderwick estate, as well as the creatures that inhabit it. 'Their World Is Closer Than You Think.' Step Up 2
Rating: PG Rebellious street dancer named Andie, part of Baltimore's most intimidating dance crew, the 410, is given a chance to attend the prestigious Maryland School of the Arts. She finds it difficult to fit into her new school life while keeping her friends from the 410. Determined to prove her skills, she assembles an eclectic crew of classmates that includes Chase, the school's best dancer, to compete against the 410 in the premier underground dance battle in Baltimore, The Streets. Rating: 15A Scary Movie' duo Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer return with this spoof, filmed supposedly on the set of '300', which parodies, amongst other notable productions, 'The Matrix', 'Ugly Betty', 'The Departed', 'Anchorman', 'Deal or No Deal', 'Pirates of the Caribbean', and unsurprisingly, '300' itself. Watch out for humorous 'appearances' from Britney Spears and President Bush, and lead turn from ex-Eastenders stalwart, Sean Maguire. 'The Bigger the Hit, The Harder They Fall ' |
