There's a real treat in store for dance music fans in Galway this weekend, as Ireland's own house hierarchy, Fishgodeep arrive into town for a one-off party at The Cellar Underground.

DJ duo Greg Dowling and Shane Johnson will be joined for the night by the sultry sounds of vocalist Tracey K for a show that promises to be one of the highlights of the summer.

Fishgodeep went from local/national heroes to worldwide renowned producers a few years ago when their 'Cure And The Cause' single became the theme tune to many a wide-eyed clubbers' night out; the Dennis Ferrer remix of the Tracey's lovelorn lyrics smashed DJ charts and even broke into the UK top 30.

Greg and Shane's 'Sweat' night at Sir Henry's (RIP) in Cork gained legendary status and was a Mecca for clubbers worldwide, not just in Ireland. Indeed, 'Sweat' has often drawn comparisons in its influence on popular culture with similar clubs such as the Hacienda in Manchester and the Shelter in New York. The guys are celebrating 20 years DJing together this year and have a special surprise night in store to celebrate this at the Electric Picnic this August, with many extra special guest appearances to be announced. While holding down regular residencies around the country and currently putting the finishing touches on some singles and their latest album with a release date later in the year, the trio have been busy DJing and doing live PAs far and wide, from Amsterdam to Dubai, London to Portugal and beyond.

Though regular visitors to clubs in Galway over the years, this Saturday will be the first time they will have played as a three-piece in the West, so expect to hear some exclusive new live material as well as the freshest new house sounds and some Sir Henry's classics for good measure... all through that lush Funktion One sound system!

Fishgodeep and Tracey K play The Cellar Underground this Saturday, 14 June, with support from local house deviants the Disconauts. Doors are from 10pm til late, and tickets, at €10, are only available on the door on the night.
