The GPO is all about the music this summer with the launch of GPO Rocks, a live music addition to the already jammed packed entertainment line up. GPO Rocks kicks off with the GPO Battle of the Bands, which will run on Tuesday nights, which will showcase Ireland's up and coming talented bands. The night will also feature a DJ playing the best and newest indie, electro and alternative music.

The competition will run for four weeks and will finish up on Tuesday 21 July with the Dirty Epics from RTE's the Raw Sessions headlining on Sunday 27 July.

GPO Marketing Director, Trina Geasley said the GPO is offering customers more than just another night out; "we are showcasing the cutting edge of new music and introducing a live element that will help us to expand this to our new and old customers alike."
