 German artist Irmela Werner will hold an exhibition of her own paintings about Human Rights in Java's coffee shop and Amnesty International shop from Sunday 3 to Sunday 24 February. Entitled 'Global Player', Irmela says the exhibition "will deal with particular chosen themes, some in direct relation to Galway, such as Manuela's murder". However, her my paintings also deal with child poverty. Background information to each painting will be given. The paintings will be sold with half of the price to be donated to Amnesty International Galway. |
